Unable to press alt and f2 to pair

I have everything set up fine, my keyboard is using the default profile for ps4. I have the app downloaded and when I try to connect with bluetooth, it says to press alt +f2 to connect but nothing happens when you press those buttons on the keyboard. I hope I’m not the only person with this problem and I have no idea what to do. It has extra power the controller and mouse and keyboard connected. Ps4 reacting to inputs, It’s just not connecting to the app.
