Keyboard not compatible?

The problem i’m having is that when i disconnect my keyboard and only leave my mouse and controller connected the mouse works in the mapping and what not. But when i plug in my keyboard it lights up, lights off, rinse and repeat. My controller vibrates on and off and my mouse lights on and off. But when the keyboard is unplugged from the keymander it doesn’t work… is there any solution? I got this keyboard and it’s brand new and if it’s not compatible then that sucks.
