Are you using the power port?

If you only have the mouse connected, does the disconnect issue happen?

If you only have the keyboard connected, does the issue happen?

Typically, if it is causing the disconnect with either connected on their own, it is an incompatibility with that model mouse/keyboard.

I was using it fine perfectly yesterday (keyboard and mouse) and I play on Xbox 1 x

It only works when I have the keyboard unplugged

Try only connecting the keyboard into the mouse port and see if it works there...

Those two aren't dedicated ports so the mouse and keyboard can be flipped.

If it was previously working, it should be compatible unless you recently performed an update. Then it could be possible it broke compatibility. However, this is quite rare.

Just out of curiosity, do you happen to have a different model keyboard that you can test with?
